Very disturbing. Another reason I've cut my street riding down to a minimal. That State Trooper made some A-Hole comments that were a little uncalled for.

This is a very sad story. this once again proves my point about new riders that buy one of the faster more powerful bikes for their first bikes. atleast as the story said he did take the MSF course.

This from the cop.
"If he was a part of that group, they probably wouldn't have stopped after the accident," the trooper added.

WTF this guy has never riden. I think that the motorcycle riders stop for other riders more often than people in cars do. I even stop for harley riders.

If you remember the meeting that we had it was said that most crashes happen in corners. here is another one.

It appears that he missed the turn and overshot the apex of the turn and then turned drastically to compensate but locked up the brakes because there was a flat spot on the front and rear tires all the way to the beads. Hew never leaned because the sides were still glossy and had nipples....He was inexperienced and riding over his head and panicked at that speed when he had no time to panic. He made a huge mistake when he couldn't afford to at those speeds. I have taken that turn at 130+ easily before it is really just a long left sweeper....but if you miscalculate and don't know how to lean you can make a exhilarating time a disastrous time. God rest his soul!!!!

here is something posted by one of their members that I agree with.

Let's all be a little more careful out there and be the voice of reason to others we ride with. I would rather be resented a little for reigning the group in a little than trying to explain to wives and mothers what happened to their loved ones.
