Look at the pics, yes I realize that no one will want the top two but I didn't want to move them.

No gimmick if you want them, any or all of them, let me know and I'll bring them to the fire dept with me on friday and you can come get them. Yes I know a few are pretty thin but its not like I'm selling them, I'm giving them away. Maybe the stunters on the site want or need them. If some one can get some extra mileage out of them better than me cutting them up so I can pitch them.

1 or 2 fronts 120/70/17
Rears are all 180/55/17

Let me know, Chris

How do you cut them up? I tried with my angle grinder but all I managed to do was shoot metal flakes everywhere, set my tire on fire, and wear my cutting wheel down. And I didn't even get through 1/4 of of the tire...

Whatever's left is yours, if that's ok? :)

Talk to Alex, lol, I was like  when I saw those. Not to mention I got two metal splinters changing them, through gloves!

They both have ok center tread if I remember right. You need a 120/70/17 ?

You have to clamp them down and use a Sawzall. :) :D :)

Yea works ok. The only reason I do that is if I'm throwing them away in my trash can. They have to be cut in thirds to throw in the trash.

Stephen you can have my front tire. It has about 1/5th of the tread left down the middle. It's a 120/70/17.

boy I tried to cut up my rear tire...that thing is TOUGH. Nothing works: wire cutters, tin snips, hack saw, jig saw. I don't have a sawzall. Any other suggestions.

I did read on Springfield's site that you can eiter cut them in thirds OR cut them in half (like a bagel normally is cut) and either is acceptable at the city dump/in your trash.

How about a metal blade on a circular saw?I took my angle grinder with a metal cutting blade to the one I had. For some reason the same blade that can cut through steel all night wore down to nothing within 4 inches of cutting that tire. Then all I was left with was steel dust all over the place, rubber smoke, and a still very much in one piece rear tire.
