Alright I bought this little dirt bike a while back rode it around the neighborhood once and it's been sitting ever since. Well finally took it back out, worked my ass off trying to get it started. Finally do and ride it around the block a couple times and I run out of gas. Well to make a long story short I don't know the mix ratio for gas and oil. This is the first dirt bike I've owned so no jokes. Anyone know of the top of their head? It's a 92 or maybe it was 95 KX80.

The 10th digit of VIN will tell you the year. Usually 32:1 is a good safe ratio. If you're worried, go 24:1.
16:1 is definitely safe but usually only for chainsaws, and fouls plugs.

Start at 32:1. Ride it a bit, pull the plug & check it. Change your mix as needed until the plug is a nice tanish color. Black = too much oil White = not enough oil

Sounds easy enough. Now that my kids have gone for a ride on it they both want one. Are any of the other 50's besides Honda's any good? I just can't seem to find a Honda for cheap enough. Plus if I get one of those the kids will probably never get a turn.
