I have the bug now that i went to the drags last friday night. Is there classes were stock bikes run against stock bikes and 600cc run against 600cc or is it a all open? How does it work since i know very little about it?

Mokan I think is the only place that has actual motorcycle drags. I think they have several classes. As far as friday nights, it's just test n tune so you'll get stuck next to anybody. I think Wes at Ozark is going to have a motorcycle race, but I'm not sure. :D

Yeah, but even the motorcycle drags I've been to at MoKan aren't something like 600 vs 600. The best way to see how you are doing is pick out someone that is running a bike the same size are yours and get in some practice. On your Gix6, ask Nate what he's running, and then you have something to shoot for (make you feel inferior).

Usually someone will just ask or you can ask someone with another 600 to run against you. Its fun to run against some of the slow 1000's too when your on a 600.

This will be the first time I have ran the drag so if you want to feel good run against me since I will still be sitting at the start line while your crossing the finish line....lmao ;)

I just talked with wes out at OIR, He said that he would run brackets for bikes next season, plus one or two all bike events. i guess they used to do it but it got to were not many bikes would show up.

Yep, even when you crash into a wall at Gateway over a 100mph. :)
I will ride the street again of coarse. I have been riding for a long time and many miles under my belt.
I am just focused on the twilight of my racing career since next year I will be 40.

Damn. I thought my 11.2's were decent for a 600 but is seems I have some time to drop. People have talked about breaking into the 10's on a 600RR but they are all 130 lb.

Thanks for the advice and I will for sure take it easy because I am a big fan of popping my clutch and I know I do not want to look at the sky at the drags....lmao ;)
