Product review space?

Was thinking that maybe a space for product, gear, parts review would be a nice read? For example----This tire X didn't work/worked great on my machine..........This brand leathers worked great in my last get off, etc., you get the idea.......has this been tried before, or is it feasible?

Its possible to create a forum page or sub forum that does not show up in the list of forums. Maybe as a link in the top bar or something.

sportbikes.net has a setup like that...
