So i was thinking about haveing my CAT taken out of my 2006 R6 and was wondering if it would have any neg side affects to the bike?

I'm not really sure, but on most cars there is an O2 sensor before and after the cat.....so if you remove the cat, it will give you a CEL (Check Engine Light).
I don't know if you would have problems with your bike or not. I don't think you will see much (if any) gain from removing it though.

i heard a guy with a ZX6R got like 10-20 HP from doing it, at least thats what he said. he is setting his up for stuntin though

First of all 10-20 HP is likely more than you will actually see. The Kawi is a different bike, and it does benefit a lot because of the way they choke them down at high RPM. The Kawi guys also do the Euro mod, jumping a connector in the tail, putting the computer in a European mode, so it won't choke the emissions at high RPM to keep noise down.

I remember hearing something about that, can you do anything like that for an R6 or will it be a lower HP gain for the real mens bikes...jk
