I'm wanting a black exhaust for my bike...but I don't really wanna dish out a lot of $$$ for another can when mine is just fine. I know Grady bought a Micron that had some type of thermal coating on it. My question is...does anyone know of a place around here that does that sort of stuff? Is it expensive? Is it worth it? Thanks in advance if anyone has info on it!

It's not cheap....

I've had to send mine out.

If they use good material, the price will reflect it. We've used Performance Coatings in Joplin for ceramics. Powder, most people can do. If you need large stuff done try Ozark Powdercoating in Carthage.

Jet-Hot is what my pipe was coated in Shawn. You could ride it all day then hold your hand on it right away!

Yes it's Area P's, I coated the pipes myself. Go to this web site and look under "Ceramic Paint" It will tell you what you need.
