As usual I went on my daily bike ride on my lunch break, but when I went to take off on my bike it shut off on me and it felt like the clutch was really short so I adjusted the clutch cable adjuster nut right at the clutch lever and that fixed the problem. Rode about 200 yards and and it did the same, so I adjusted it again. a couple of blocks later the same thing happened, so I turned it back as far as I could stretching the cable to the max and again it worked for a couple of minutes till I no longer had any clutch left by pulling the lever and had lots of slack on the cable. I rode the bike home without using the clutch and parked it. Anyone have any Idea if my clutch is done or if it may just be the cable some how. I've been using my clutch to wheelie a lot lately, which I never used to do in the past. I figured that may be it. Those of you who have some mechanical experience, please let me know whet you think its is.

Alex it sounds like your clutch cable is unraveling inside of the sleeve? You probably need a new clutch cable. Just a thought

I have another cable at the house, so I'll start by replacing it and hopefully that's all it is. Thanks for your imput.

Alex, that's what my Fireblade started doing when the clutch started to let go. I hope you can get away cheap on this one and it be a cable replacement. Good luck.
