You wanting to go to Jasper again? I have talked to Jamie1000RR and Hooter954, both hated to miss last weeks ride down past Jasper and want to go this week. Not sure if we will be able to or not, but Jamie would like to go all the way to Hwy 16 at Deer, AR and make a loop down there.
If we want to do a longer ride, I would say we leave at 9:30 Sunday Morning. See you guys at the QT Sunday morning by 9:30 :)

I should be there. I'll have 2-3 hrs to ride...don't have time to do the long ride. Looking forward to meeting a few new faces.

That will be at least enough time to ride to Billly Jacks if not Rueter depending on our speed. Your looking at roughly 3 hours from QT to Rueter and back.
I'll be there. I should have time for the full ride to AR. I'll see ya guys at 9:15am or so.

That is one of the biggest understatements that I have heard in a long time!! They say 10 mph corners and they mean it.!!

That hiway 123 was one of the best roads I have ridden on. Smooth as a baby's butt with turns you can actually see around. That is until the last few miles. It's a good thing we were warned about the 10mph being accurate.

Nice meeting a few of you today.
Had a great time. Couldn't have asked for a better day to ride. I was pretty impressed with the way you guys (and Tammy) rode today. Maybe next time I'll be able to go into AR. Nice pics.
Tim, Glad you had a chance to go with us. It was a pleasure to meet you. Hope to see you on future rides!

Glad to see you out, both of you were impressive on the ride to Rueter. You both seemed to ride with in your comfort level and didn't push it to try and keep up. That to me is more impressive than a new rider that rides above their ability. Hope you can join us on more rides in the future. I hope you found it to be true what I told you about us being willing to wait no matter how slow you may be.

Some have pictures, I have GPS :D.
Here is the GPS info I got yesterday. The trip info includes some of the time we spent stopped unless I spent time inside where it lost satellite signal.
From the QT to Billy Jacks took us 42 minutes and it is 33.5 miles, Avg speed was 47 mph, top speed was 106 which was in the long straights right before Bradleyville. We did not stop at Garrison during this trip.
From Bradleyville to Rueter, took us 15 minutes and it is 15.6 miles, Avg speed was 64 mph, top speed was 105.
From Rueter to Harrison, took us 1 hour 40 min and it was 53.4 miles, Avg speed was 32 mph, top speed was 104.
From Harrison to The Cliff House Just south of Jasper, AR took us 26 min and was 24.5 miles, Avg speed was 55, Top speed was 97.
From The Cliff House we took a different route and then my battery went dead went we got to Hwy 86 just after crossing back into Missouri coming up 65. We went south on Hwy 7 to 123 then headed north on that back up to 65 then headed home from there.
Like I mentioned, the battery died at Hwy 86 just after crossing back into Missouri. It took us 2 hours 15 minutes and we rode 92.1 miles, Avg speed was 41 mph, Top speed was 106.
Total round trip time was 6 hours and 57 minutes and it was 219 miles. This includes our time spent eating lunch, waiting on the ferry the 10 minutes we spent at Billy Jacks as well as all the other stops. Based on previous trips, from Hwy 86 my house normally takes about 47 minutes and it 52 miles. Adding that, the days ride would have taken around 7 hours and 45 minutes and been 271 miles.
It was a long BUT wonderful day of riding! I only wish that more could have gone with us.

Hey Doug, is your GPS going in a direct line such as crows flight when it tracks the mileage. Mine is that way, just wondered if yours has some updated software that keeps track of your turns and such.
