Have the "Chic riders of MO" ever considered that, by defining themselves by their gender, they are lowering their standards?
I mean, really, BFD. A woman that rides. What is so special about that? You're actually catering to all the ignorant redneck hicks that define a woman as someone that "can't ride".
I know you're trying to give those people the finger, but you're actually letting what they think define who you are and what you do.
Maybe I should save this for the war room.
What's next? Blacks riders of Missouri?
People with brown eyes, that ride?

There has to be an all black club somewhere.

You know, there are more than one reason to form a club. Maybe these women are interested in meeting other women instead of having to deal with a bunch of guys that act like they are 14 all the time.

Maybe they could deal with the people that act like adults and not rule out an entire gender based on a few bad apples......(wait, wait, wait, the actions of a few reckless, unthoughtful, immature people don't influence other peoples opinions.....or do they?)
This sounds familiar!

Ok, guys take your stuff to the war room.............PLEASE! ;P
This is an all girls deal but from what I have discussed many many males ride with them and many events are scheduled with some of the "All" male gender clubs.
Most women are intimidated by men because "some" men make women feel uncomfortable in a "male" dominated sport! This is a chance for women to get together and help other women feel more comfortable with out having to feel intimidated ;)

The whole direction of this thread is testimony as to why there is an all female group. I actually welcome the new group to our area!
Oh and BTW, there are a lot of racial, gender, ethnic, and genre biased clubs and crews nationwide, get over it.

Hey, I never said anything negative about women riding.
All I did was comment on using gender to identify yourself by. Congratulations, you just assimilated with approximately half the population on the planet. Way to go!

Hey, groups aligned by a common thread, who identify themselves exclusively by that thread, with no regard to the morals or values that make themselves unique. What's the diff?
I'll take it to Warroom from here (As if anybody wants to continue this).
Bredget, sorry to jack your thread, I was wrong to do so.
Lauren, I'm still an A$$. Work on your grammer.

Yes I have been speaking with the President of the St. Louis chapter for some time now and she offered to guide me in the direction of getting a Springfield chapter started. With my passion for motorcycles and my enthusiasm to go over and beyond to achieve my desired level of riding, I think this will be a great opportunity to share with others the same passion... but I can't do it by myself ladies ;)
If it were up to me I would just quit my job and ride motorcycles all of the time... but Reality just hit me and I figured out I can't do that....lmao :p

I have talked very highly of this site as well and they are very willing to get with us on events this summer in our area and possibly bring us to the st. louis area!
I am very excited about this and very excited to share with all of you... so please if you have negative things to say either keep it to yourself, pm me or start something in the war room!!!
Thank you,
B

Kinda makes me wish I was staying. Wonder if they have any riding groups in KC?
I'm sure they do. But, come on, we all know riding in an organized group is more trouble than it's worth. Well, maybe that's just my opinion.
