Here is one intake I tried -

I tried than one in an effort to draw cooler air into the engine.
Decided that it was not practical when it was raining, so I eventually made this closer fitting intake.

Here is the 919 as it was sold......

Now, this was possibly the first 4-1 ever put on a 919. It is either a 1993 or a 1994 stock CBR900RR system, almost bolted on.
The sound improved, and the powerband was "changed" in a positive way.
Some 919 owners had a problem with the underseat exhaust stinking the rider up, I did.
Here is a Kerker system, originally designed for the CBR900RR -

Looks nice man! I never got a chance to mod mine before I sold it.
Did you have a programmer as well? I knew there was a little more power lurking in there somewhere.
The pics look like clip on's or are they low bars cut down? Looks much more agressive!
Oh yeah, PCIII was one of the first mods and I have a custom map made, that rocked.
The handlebars are stainless steel bars, I forgot who made them, but they were the best bars I ever tried on the 919.
I'll remember the name of them as soon as I post this.....
why is that exhaust so low? I used to have one that hung that low and I scraped the hell out of it.

I believe that bike needs a massive supercharger.
