i think for what she'd been through before hand (being solely a passanger ride) then recovering, learning how to ride and even rode deal's gap is awesome. she and i have had a myspace correspondence back in forth for a while now, and what i think is cool is that her attitude since then about her scars has always been "it is what it is and it's my mistake" and she's thankful she was at least wearing a helmet.

Ok, I found some info. That really sucks. Did I understand it correctly, she roadrashed part of her breast off? WOW!

I didn't get how it happened. Was there even a crash, or did she just fall off the back?

There were two stories floating around about the same time. One was a girl that fell off the back of a bike, and the other was a professional stunter who wrecked while not wearing any gear. I'm not sure which this is.

there was an article about her on one of the car forums awhile back. if i remember correctly she got picked up from the beach or something and was wearing like a hoodie and some shorts. i think the guy went up into a wheelie and she fell off the back. had to have extensive surgery from the massive amounts of road rash all over her body. she recovered and became the poster child for riding gear.

but i don't know if that's the exact story, it's been awhile since i read it. i'm sure jen knows the story better then i do and can correct any of my false statements.

she was wearing an oversized hemlent, capris and a hoodie. the rider picked up speed and the wind blew her off. crazy stuff

wow I remember hearing about that just after it happened. tough girl, I admire her taking her stupid mistake and turning it around to set a good example. battle scars are hot though. seriously.

the only thing left I have going through my mind is what happened to the guy she was riding with? was his riding found to be neglectful? was he charged with anything? I don't think I could live with myself if I did that to a girl.
