A buddy of mine said if i want a bike to look for kits to build on it better... what kits or what mods with this be? Like bore kits or pipes timing stuff like that? If there are "kits" out there where are they and what is the most prominent? What would be a good bike to mod and build on as i go? Thinking 600 to start out with.. how far can i go?
Thanks:bow

There are all sorts of bike kits like: turbo kits, body kits, lighting kits, single sided swingarm kits, fat tire kits, lowering kits, etc. Depending on what you want the bike to do and look like will greatly effect the type of customizing you do to it. Once we open our doors at Bad eXamples! we will be able to help you out with all your customizing needs! :D

If this is your first bike, then learning how to ride and getting all the gear should be first on your mind. Build it up once you have the required skill set.

What the heck are you talking about when you say "kits"? You need to be more specific. Are you wanting to build a bike from the ground up? Are you wanting to buy a bike and build a new engine?
What are you wanting to do??
Just about every bike out there has aftermarket parts available for it. You should probably buy a bike and learn how to ride it first...then go from there.

If you're looking for a 750....your only choice is a Gixxer 750. Everyone else has gotten out of the 750 game. :(

I enjoyed putting all of my mods on the bike separately. That way I wasn't locked into one particular brand or preset configuration. I made my bike what it is today. I guess what I'm saying is don't look for a kit, just do the things you think will be most beneficial on your own. And talking to people on this site will give you a really good idea of what mods are helpful vs. just pretty-looking.
