Linking ebay to paypal

Well, I found something I wanted on eBay, and decided to place a bid.

WRONG.

I have to have a paypay account to bid. Nevermind that I've had a paypal account in good standing since the Dawn Of The Internet, they have to be "linked" for me to bid. I'm just glad that I found this item with three days left, instead of 30 minutes, as I've been looking for one for a very long time.

Well, I clicked the "link" page, and it says they're linked, but no biddie no winnie. I called paypal, and changed a bunch of stuff. No Bid, No win.

So, How the hell do I do this? Of course, ebay's contact info is damn near non existant.

Any idears? This is the first time I've been told I CAN'T buy something since my 21st birthday...
