Does anyone know if there is a Dyno Machine in any of the local bike shops? My FZR400 starts making good power at around 8,000 RPM and Red lines at 14,000 RPM. The problem is that it starts cutting out around 11,000 to 12,000 RPM. I bought the bike from Tony Terrell and he said that he had been thinking about taking it to Tulsa to have them put it on their Dyno to see if they could find the problem.

Any Ideas

IMO I would take it to Scott and the gang at Tulsa Cycle center before I would go to a local shop. JMO. That's where mine is going soon to get a custom map done for the new PC3 and full system.

I agree with Brian, but if you just need to see what kind of power output you're delivering to the rear wheel, Performance Cycle on West Hwy 60, toward Republic, has a dyno.

Have you done a tune up lately? Plugs, air cleaner, clean the carbs, have them synced? On older bikes, the needles and emulsion tubes get enough wear on them to make the bike stutter at high RPM's.

TSC in Tulsa, I 2nd B's vote. Scott and the guys are racers that are GREAT to work with ;)
