So, if you don't already know, I was basically selling funny feedback and the "hook" was that I was actually selling you an email containing an attachment. I received a warning about it, letting me know that I was in violation because I listed it under "eBay Tools" and it had to be in a specific area for non-tangibles. So I just didn't relist anything so there would be no quesiton that I would violate any rules.

About 3 weeks later I receive "We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been temporarily suspended for a term of 30 days due to the violation of our site policy below"

WTF?!? I did violate a policy, however my warning just said don't do it again. So I dispute it, explaining I take accountability for my past action, however it was explained I *could* be suspended or removed if I did it again. I DIDN'T do it again though.

So... 29 days later I get "We appreciate the information you have submitted, and have reviewed the details of this suspension. After further review, it has been decided that your account qualifies for reinstatement. Please note that, although your account is now active, any listings or bids that were cancelled by your account suspension will not be reinstated."

WTF again?!? I am glad the understood what I was saying and reinstated me, however that should have never happened according to their own terms and agreement. What if I was a seller that depended on this income 100% ?!?

My other complaint? I had two non-paying bidders (they are rampant now with eBay's new policies) that I was waiting for selling fee credit. Now that this dispute happened, they keep my $26.xx. Lame.

Whew, ok, I am done.

Yup, **** ebay. I'm tired of their boolsheet and saw this coming from a mile away. I would dispute them holding those charges, too.

Then I'm pretty sure you would have categorized them properly, and would have had slightly less "questionable" auctions listed. ;) :dblfng:dblfng

C'mon Frank...you do lots of stuff just to see how far you can push, before you're called on it. I'm surprised that you are surprised. ;);):D

I do believe you have us confused :dblfng lol. That is true, and I am willing to pay the price. I don't feel it is reasonable to give me a warning, then boot me for 30 days, then on the 29th day say "Our bad, you are allowed back on here".

Lame.

I am hoping eBid works out well!

I predict lower profits and lots of no-sells, but I'm hoping to be wrong.
