Thought I'd post a few pictures of the new bike after Jamie was nice enough to help me get all the modifications done. I still need to get those pink flames on it, but for the most part, everything else is done.
ZG Double Bubble - dark smoke
LP Clear Flushmount Markers
LP Clear Rear Blinkers - much smaller
Vortex Framesliders
Vortex Swingarm Bobbins
Mudflap Removal
"Custom" Plate - :D

Looks good, but I'd never feel safe with those tiny little blinkers. I followed a GSXR600 with those once and could never tell when he had them on.

When did Jamie help you do that??? Are you guys sneaking around on Carmi and I????

True, but they look nice.
Bike is really looking nice Tiff, I like the work you've done on your under tail, hehe :dvil

I'm not sure if you want this much attention but it may keep someone from rearending you again.

I understand the concerns, but if they didn't see me with the big ass bulbs and the mud flap on the VFR, then they're not gonna see anything else either. The chances you take I guess.
Thanks for all the compliments everyone. I hope to make it a little more custom with the pink flames. :D

i think the best thing you did besides the blinkers was the wind screen. the tinted screen on the black bike is hard to beat.

Thanks, Jack. The bike I had before was a '98 VFR800. It didn't make it through the accident so this is my new bike. I just made some modifications to "unstock" it. Still have a few things to do though.

I have a couple suggestions if you really want to "unstock" it. You can lay it down at about 5-10 mph, then paint it white, that seems to have worked to make mine look less stock :D

+1
If what I heard you say the other nite is true, then what your doing is for most people a once in a life time thing. There will always be another bike. I just wish I could afford yours.

Well, since no one else wanted to perv out on this, I'm going to! Sorry in advance Tiff!
Nice rear end ya got there! Two holes are more fun than one, so keep the stock exhaust.
The bike looks sweet Tiff. Spring sunshine is almost holding, so we need to see you out on it when you can!

Sorry, Adam. I just get tired of people saying, "If you'd ever ride that thing ..." or "that bike looks so new because you never ride it." It's not like I never ride because I don't WANT to ... I ride it when I can, which is not very often with my schedule.
