Lets make this happen this year GIRLZ!!

We have had a lot of new interest in the biking community so lets put together a ride!

Please post up what day will work best and how long of a ride you would like to go on!

All women welcome! Doesn't matter if your fast or slow we will make this a ride for everyone!!!!

I dont do stunts so does that mean i cant post in the stunt section.

You can post wherever you want but this is meant for an ALL GIRLZ ride and the boys around here get carried away so that is why the admin asked them not to post on this ride since it is for GIRLZ ONLY!!

There are very few girls that ride around here and the ones that do don't ride very much and don't go out on rides therefore this is to help the local women get to know eachother and learn how to enjoy the sport. Some women are intimidated by the men around here so this will help build their confidence in riding!!!

A nice short ride is down AA to Sugar Tree BBQ in Galena. No reason to go all out (ie125) on our first ride together.

I mostly only ride with the guys but I wanted an opportunity for us girls that do ride to be able to get out there and help the newbies feel more comfortable without any distractions...LOL (MEN) ;)

I am thinking a Sunday is going to work the best and I think we will use the route you suggested since I am somewhat familiar with it and I remember you saying you have ridden it as well ;)

I would also like to make it and I may have a passenger ... and when I have a passenger I am extra cautious and ride at a relaxed pace. So a nice, easy ride will be great.

I'd come up but with the recent clutch problem because some idiot (can you tell I'm still a little angry) my bike isn't going anywhere since I don't know anyone in this area that knows anything about bikes and I don't really want to take it to the shop. I wanna learn about these things so I can do it myself in the future. Have fun girls... I may be out the rest of the season :(

Janet (my wife) has been having a lot of issues lately with her hip but I think she'd like to join in on this if she is up to it the day you'all go out. I've been trying to get her to get out and meet some new friends but she's a bit shy. :)
I think the idea of a girl's-only ride is a great thing for you'all and I bet there's more lady-riders out there than one would think. I also believe there are a ton of girls out there that dream of having their own bike to ride but are intimidated for whatever reason. Perhaps seeing a bunch of girls out having fun will trigger those who are thinking about it. Make this happen ladies!:)

If I had my own bike, and wasnt pregnant. Id be out there in a heartbeat! It broke my heart that my husband and I had to get rid of this back this month, but we will be getting another one, and once this baby is born and we are back to normal life..I'll be getting my own, and would really like to do a girls ride to get more comfortable!

It was a nice ride! And yes, that food was GOOD!!! No KY3 never showed, if they did it was after we left. Oh well, poor guy. I felt sorry for those people who put all the work into a poker run & food, then a horrible turn out.

At least it was a nice day! Thanks guys/gals! Did anyone get a pic of all the bikes when they were lined up? I did, but its on my phone.
