View Full Version : How about some CLEAR wheels for your bike?

Check these out! Clear wheels! I have no idea what the "clear" part is made of. It's doesn't say. Perhaps they finally invented clear aluminum? :laugh. My guess is some polycarbonate, ya think? Can't imagine them being light or rigid enough for riding aggressive either.

With prices STARTING at $5800 I sure hope that's for a set!

They even make clear stator and clutch covers. dunno.

They've been out for awhile, and are strictly for show bikes.

They're neat!

I bet it wouldn't take much to twist the hubs out of those things!! Looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen.....even if they are "just for show".

acktually five minutes after I posted that I was out doin some and the front weehl loked up and i fell through a drive-through ordering sign. it was wikked sik tho till i crashed.

Lexan is really just a brand of polycarbonate. And although PC is tough its too flexible to make wheels from. Unless reinforced with fiberglass, but then it wouldnt be clear. Its most likely a composite of Pc and acrylic or something to that effect.

You should really just stick to posting google links and acting smart. You way better at that than your are at sh!+ talking. You should go to Gregg or Brad for advice on how to be a proper smart ass. At least they're is good at it.
