They both create good times for all you different skilled riders... in the past 6 or 7 years of my 50 riding experience i've rode almost all types of Jap & China bikes and what i've noticed is: China bikes are easier on the wallet $600 bones will get you riding or whatever you wanna do w/ it, thats a cheap price. But if you want to rip hard on it...it will not last, sorry but its true. I think you can get away w/ using some China parts like non moving parts for example, skid plates, plastics etc. All other parts i don't trust with my life or all my lil neighbor kids lives that want the real thing like the CRF 50 but just can't afford it. I stress to all of their parents the importance of buying the right bike and many agree.
I can go on and on about this subjuct but i'll let you guys take over now... Thanks and keep rip'n! "HONDA" :moped

True. I think there are some cool Chinese motors that put out some serious power, but I think they are best used in a Jap chassis. I have ridden, but never owned a China bike. I prefer the box stock CRF's, DRZ110's, and TTR125's.

Let me get into more detail...

You can make both bikes last a long time if you don't ride them like a big bike, what i mean by that is you can't land hard and let the bike take the hit... its not going to last (either bike). YOU have to take the impact cuz all the suspension is in your knees and elbows. Don't get me wrong... you can still hit the big bike jumps, just learn to respect the bike thats all.

Plus, the China bikes are killing the 50 riding on the streets cuz of there 110+cc motors w/ the big bike stance is like a cop magnet. I always wanted a klx 110 but its useless unless you gotta track to rip on, the 50's take off from your house and ride all day and night. Thats what i call a good time!

I just caught wind of a group of China bike riders on the north side thats vandalizing local businesses, busting out windows, panting walls etc. in the middle of the night...NOT COOL!!! Soon 50 riding will be ruled out thanks to these guys.

I never really get on here much... but it seems as if this section might need some help... i see a lot of miss information about these subjects and i couldn't take it no more! Sorry i've been away from this site for along time and i will check in from time to time.

Later-on!

There are those that'll argue that they're just doing what makes them happy and it doesn't affect those that respect the law.

True Brad, we also do things in the grey area while riding the streets but we never destroy things.... on purpose that is... haha I thing Kenny Bartram was the one that started smokin the tire off down town in front of The Piano Bar a few weeks ago lol but that was harmless, it sure got the cops attention though haha. Thats how we found out about the north side destroyers lol cuz the cops thought we were them. That ended up being a fun night.

depends on the china bike. bottom dollar stuff is an accident waiting to happen, top tier china stuff(sounds funny saying that) is really nice. the new yx motors and the pitster linkage suspension bikes are very nice.

Yea I've been looking hard at the Pitster X4.

I haven't seen one up close but the online reviews and pictures make it seem like a quality bike. Course its 2000 bucks, so its not exactly cheap either.

if i could do it all over again i would buy a complete bike. by the time you make a honda 50 fast, strong and jumpable its amazing how much money you have sank.:( the ncc pitsters are race ready out of the box with monster motors, that would be my path if i ever decide to start over.
