Holy Crap..............last night was a WAY awesome turnout, maybe 30 people. It was good to see friends that I hadn't seen since last fall. Hope we can keep up the large groups. I had a blast.

We need to get back to the point where we have the same waitress most every week like when we first started going out last spring. That leads to them knowing us, that we tip well and improves our service!

I thought the one last night wasn't bad, but I wasn't in her section much. The one we had over playing Golden Tee seemed to be pretty good last night also. Neither one of the 2 I dealt with last night were anywhere close to being the worst ones we've gotten there!!

Had a great time last night. The waitress may have been confused, but she said she was stuck with some tabs that weren't paid. I took care of some of it, but can't keep making that a habit. Let's be sure we take care of the waitresses and our bills if we want to continue to be welcome there.

Jack V, you're going to have to get a larger container for your supplement - my bill was $58 and the only food was one white pizza. Your stuff is cheaper, better and I'll contribute to the overhead...

That really sucks peeps are not paying their tab. My sister forgot to pay her tab last time. Basically we waited for ever for a ticket, then she finished her beer, put on her jacket and left. On the way home we realized it, but Doug had already taken care of it (thanks F-U). Doug has been reimbersed. Usually, you get your ticket, you pay, you finish your drink and leave. This was obviously not intentional as we called the bar.


This has not ever been a problem anywhere else. I have never been a server, Denise has. As I understand, it is the SERVERS responsibility to remember who ordered what, and get paid.

Sorry you were stuck with a bill JVM. Thanks for posting the concern.

Alright.....those people who didn't pay their bill need to fess up! I know I've headed out the door a couple times and realized I didn't pay yet... BUT.. I turned around and came back in to settle the tab. Don't ruin what we've got going people! I know it's mostly the waitresses' responsiblity, but she is working hard to please us and we need to be appreciative back by being honest and not making someone else have to pay for those that skip. If that continues no one will end up going casue they dont want to be stuck with the unpaid tabs and/or we wont get anymore good waitresses because they won't want to wait our tables!

P.S. tip those good waitresses too!

Thanks for paying for those that skipped and keeping our reputation good, Jack!

The thing with the green room is it has more TV's and doesn't allow cigar smoking, plus its a little brighter. We can get a pool table and tables set up for us in the burgandy room next wee if we want to try it.

The deal with the waitress wasn't that people walked out it was that people ordered drinks and then she couldn't find them when she came back with the drinks. I had her show me how she keeps track of all that and orders drinks, way cool and definte thumbs up for her keeping up not only with our LARGE group but everyone else she was taking care of in there. I also helped her take care of those drinks and I'm pretty sure between JVM and I cover those she got tipped on them as well.

Glad to se everyone out there, lets keep it up. :)

This is not an uncommon thing at F&H. They don't do the best job of keeping track of their orders, getting them out, and distributing bills. CNI talked about this last night.
The unfortunate thing, is that people got stuck with the bill. From now on if we can't pay as we go, we may have to figure out a system where this doesn't happen again.

Who has ever been stuck with a bill? I never have and I've been going since they opened. Like I said before part of the problem was people ordering drinks and the wandering off to talk to others and she can't find the person who orderded, I'm guilty of that. I bet its not easy to keep track of 30 people moving from place to place ordering food and drinks the whole time.

Yes! We (swmo) all paid for our drinks. The couple of beers that Jack and I took care of belonged to our group (she couldn't find who ordered them and didn't want to stick someone with them, she was going to pay for them herself) but its no big deal I don't mind buying a few beers for someone occasionally. Lets not get carried away its not going to be something I do every week.

So then taking on our large group was quite the load, while stressed out from saying goodbye to her friend.
