Racetech springs, steel braided lines, metzler tires, thrust company sprockets with 2up in rear, and a penske shock.

Suspension and sprockets!
Go up 3 in the rear and leave the front alone.

I have a 540cc high-compression big-bore piston kit I'll sell you. Includes cylinders that are bored to match, and a re-useable copper head gasket. Manufactured by Engine Dynamics:
http://www.enginedynamics.com/kits/kawasaki.shtml
With that, I'd recommend some cams, bigger valves, and light port work, but the 540 kit by itself is a big bump in torque and horsepower.

And if you want some real suspension upgrades, I'll sell my EX500, that has CBR600F2 forks and wheels already installed (you don't see many wide-tire EX's...), which would be a drop n' swap to your bike. A 'busa rear shock (which I don't have, but I think would be easy to find) is the only thing it needs... It handles pretty damn well.
The purchase of this would include nearly a complete bike's worth of spares, new fork bushings, wiring harness, two engines, two cranks (one mic'd and magnafluxed), several cylinders, several extra cylinder heads (some ported and ready for big valve), extra rear shock, a couple sets of headpipes and mufflers, etc.

AJwould that give me more more torque or top speed.

whats the price? will I have to mess with anything else to put it together. I can do all the work myself if there is nothing else to do but assemble it. do you know the actual power difference with kit (HP/Torque)?

Actual peak increase is about 10-15% (i.e. +5 to 7 hp, +3 to 5 ft-lb torque) which is even better on a bike this light.
This assumes no other mods. What that doesn't show is the gain in lowend torque, and the general "fattening" of the horsepower and torque curves. If you put in bigger valves, and clean up the ports, and add cams, expect an easy 20-25% increase.
I'll have to look up my receipts to see what I spent on everything, but it will be marked down, a lot. I also had the pistons thermal-barrier coated, and moly-coated. The nice thing is, the pistons weigh the same as stock, so it's a bolt-in, with no balancing issues.
Since I have cylinders bored already, it'll be a straight bolt-in deal, although with the bushed and undercut trans I have, you might consider doing a full-on engine. Once you have the cylinders and heads off, it's only a few more bolts....
I will come up with the price I paid for everything, lower that considerably, and shoot you the offer.

The one thing I realy want to do is get frame sliders but I dont know where to buy them or where to put them if I make my own. anyone know?

The 500 frame is not readily frame-slider compatible. But, it is steel, so you can easily weld fittings for the frame slider of your choice.
The bushed transmission will shift more positively, and engage more smoothly. Also, the bushings in the stock transmission wear, and usually at about 15,000 miles, 2nd gear starts to pop into Neutral on deceleration, thus making smooth cornering kinda difficult. The bushing and undercutting remedies this by replacing the OE Kawasaki bushing/junk with aircraft grade bronze.
Better handling is limited to springs and fork oil, but with the CBR600 conversion, you get beefy conventional forks, dual disc brakes, a 160 or 170 rear tire, and emulators are available for the CBR forks. It's not modern-era, but it's a billion times better than the moped-grade forks that are stock on the EX/Ninja. Plus, all the racers do it.
Did I mention I have a CBR frontend, already fitted to the Ninja frame, with beefy tapered roller bearings? Also for sale?
The EX500/CBR frontend was a potent racer combo, and until the SV650 came out, the Kaw 500 was a very popular clubracer.

If you want a good running, sweet handling 500 Ninja, you're really not too far away from it.
PM me your email address, and a phone number.
