little while back I figured out that I really didn't like putting the video camera in the tank bag or if at the track duct taping it to the tank so I found a piece of metal that pretty much was already the shape I wanted and put some holes in the bottom part so they would match up with the bolts that hold the steering damper to the upper triple clamp. I do not use the video camera to do anything but record the video so the angle of the camera doesn't matter.

so you like recording the pretty sky :D
mount that thing to center hole on the damper and you would have nice gauges in the vid so you could see how fast you where in the corners "at the track"

That's what I was thinking. What are you going to be taping with it point up at such an angle?

What I got from this statement was he uses somekind of "bullet" camera and he just needed a way to mount the recording device.

sorry, you must not have seen the vid and pictures I posted somewhere on here. so here you go

I have an idea for a mount for the remote, just haven't figured out what I'm going to make it out of. how I mount the remote cam is very ugly but it works very good.

if it says video in someplace.

I don't think I'd use anything that isn't either tape or SSD. mine is SSD so it don't shut down from vibration. I don't know about your recorder but a friend has an hard drive recorder and he gets about 15 seconds before it's too much vibration.

mine is the Aiptek HD I don't remember the model. it has 1080 and 720 HD, 8mega pixel camera, night shot, PMP, voice recorder and D1 60 frames at 720x480. just make sure it has video in.

for the remote I used an X-10 that I converted using a video on youtube.
