I've got a little more info on the Trophy Bike class. It'll be for street legal bikes without slicks and wheelie bars. Entry should be $20. It's a chance for some of you guys to get acquainted with bracket racing without a big entry fee.

Correct me if i am wrong, Bracket racing is where you run head to head right? Or is it your times. Forget what it's called, But when you have a set time and cant beat it or you will "break out"

No, Heads-up is head to head fastest man wins.

Bracket is done on a handicap basis. IE: a 10 sec bike vs a 13 sec bike. the slower bike gets a 3 sec head start. there is a "breakout" in bracket racing so if you say your bike runs 13 but run faster you lose. (helps keep the cheaters at bay while making close and exciting races on a level playing field)

The index class's are heads up races with an index. Ie supergas is a 9.90 index so the start is even and the man/woman that runs closest to 9.90 without going faster than 9.90 wins. so, its kinda like a bracket race but with a predetermined dial in.

Looks good the only thing I would have like to have seen was 2 seperate shootout classes for the streetbikes and purpose built bikes.

Craig what kinda numbers was the proshootout bikes running last year and how was the turnout for the race? Didn't make it because our baby was due anytime.
