so i ordered lowering links for the 00 gixxer600, how hard are these to install? where would i take it and so forth if so. i would do it myself but with itbeing a bike i dont want to risk me doing something wrong.

i put mine on w/ some help from a couple of friends....on my '03 r6. it wasn't that hard. just replaced the factory dogbone w/ the adjustable one. then lowered the forks to even it out. did you get the adjustable dogbone or one that has 3 different holes to set it?

Yep, its not hard, just 4 bolts, have a good stand, a couple jack stands and a floor jack. Make SURE you unload that rear shock or it will bite you when the dog bones come out.

i got the links that have the 3 holes in them, thanks for the advice guys, if there is a how to anywhere that you know of let me know, as i can not find one.

here is a link to what the lowering links look like, how exactly do i go about doing this? or at least how would i go about it? since the bike has full ferring how woudl i get it up in the air if need be theres no spot to jack it up.?
