If they don't ask, don't tell :D DO NOT go to the DMV downtown either, they will screw you on it, prolly make you pay like a ONE BILLION dollar fine.

I would say Republic or Ozark is your best bet

I take all my stuff to Republic, but I have heard that the satelite office in Nixa is also good, but I dont know where it is located.

The one in Republic is right on 60 on the west side of town in a little strip mall on the north side of the road. I like this one, since I normally just take the bike and stop by and see Kevin and get my inspection done on the way. Kevin is really good about getting inspections done for you as long as he isn't really busy or something.

I believe it is on 60 just past the Wal-Mart on the right. It is in a strip mall.

You do NOT need a bill of sale to license a bike in Missouri. The only time I have ever needed one was purchasing from out-of-state, then you also need an "ID/OD".

Republic it top notch, I always deal with "Cherie" (prounounced 'sherree). The are INDEPENDANTLY funded, not Missouri funded, so the service is much better.

The nixa office is off of village center, across from mcdonalds. If you go south on 160 turn left on hwy 14. Then go right on village center. (by signal and the bridge church) The license bureau is on your left about half way down. 725-9697 is the number

The I am pretty sure you DO need your B.O.S in addition you will need to get your "ID/OD" Which is Identification of the VIN, and and odometer reading and verification. You can get this at any inspection station.

I just went though that not long ago and DMV requires that the MOSHP fills out the form. I don't remember what the form is called, but is about the size of an inspection slip.

thanks guys for all the help.. so hopefully i wont have any trouble registering the bike.. i do have the vin numer and bill of sale.. the obo meter reading is actually only a couple thousand miles off the original miles... that would suck if they wont let me register it in the end..

At worst, they will mark the title "TMU" (True miles unknown). Let us know how it turns out, this could be something several of us could learn from.
