for anyone interested in chasing the points, heres an outline of the points championship at Mokan.

Eliminators
Five eliminators will run for Napa Points at Mo-Kan in 2005. Super Pro, No-Electronics, Sportsman, Jr. Dragster and Motorcycle.

Points
Each racer who wishes to compete for points pays a $15 fee per category. We will assign a points number or you may register your current number, first come first served.

• Racers receive thirty-five points for entering an event and ten points per round won and a bonus of two points for winning and one point for runner up. Buy backs receive points at the regular rate, but only for rounds won.

• There will be sixteen scheduled Napa Bracket Series races at Mo-Kan. Run as many as you like and we will count your best ten for your points total. Cancelled races will not be made up, except to ensure ten races.

• If a race is cancelled at any time, for any reason, points stop with the last round completed, if any.

• All points are assigned to a driver and not a car. Mo-Kan points racers judged by the series director to be in violation of any series rules, may, at the director’s discretion, lose points for a round, event or the entire series.

Entries
Racers may enter and compete for points in any, but only one entry per driver, per category at any given event.
All track elimination procedures and class rules apply.

Carl also posted this change.
We are going to modify our Bracket Series run order. We think this new run order makes more sence and will make our bracket event run smoother.

The new run order for TT and Eliminations

Sportsman
motorcycle
jd*
NoE
Super Pro

*JD runs time runs before regular time runs start.

Also, we ask that anyone needing a time run wait until we have finished eliminations. This is to preserve the integrity of the track for those who are still competing and to avoid computer and points mistakes from constantly changing classes and turning points on and off.

We will do a $10 buy back in Motorcycle this year if there are five or more bikes in the first round.

The blinder will be up for all classes. In Super Pro, Blind Cross (aka Cross Talk) will be used. If you don't want blind cross you must put an N after your dial. But the blinder will still be up.

Remember, Blind Cross is only used in Super Pro.

And last but not least, thanks to the NAPA stores in Miami and Pittsburg, the FULL payout at ALL NAPA Bracket Series events is guranteed!
