But isn't Nelly playing tonight? I am not much on Rap stuff, however I find myself singing along to his stuff, kinda catchy I guess. Is anyone going, or better yet, does anyone have a free ticket for me ;)

Should have said you wanted them sooner. I could have got front row ones about 2 weeks before they came out. The president of CSI gives A LOT of $$ to SMSU so they've got him on the "preferred" list so he get the go at tickets for stuff sooner than most. He offered to several of us that to give him the $$ and he would get as many as we wanted for like 35 or 40 bucks each. To bad those are gone now.

That's alright. I am not a die hard fan, as much as if the tix were cheap of free, I would go.

Rap and hip hop never seems to be very good live, anyway.

Hmmm. I have never been. I just got this wild hair to try it about an hour ago, then the $40 tix took some wind out of my sail.

Carmi and I are going! Woo Hoo! Should be a blast ... Nelly isn't your typical "rapper" dude.

They are suppose to be going to traffic after the concert.

Seen him live...only because I worked the concert and he really sucked.....too much of todays music is done with computers and sampling...when he was live with just music being played...it was horrible. Hope for those that paid, he is better prepared. At least the acoustics at the Hall are very good.

The concert was actually really good. I was worried after he sang his first song but after that it was great. We had a blast and also had some kick @ss seats. Two thumbs up for sure.

BTW, it was at Hammon's Student Center.

I went and seen 50 Cent a couple years ago at the Shrine Mosque and was really disappointed in the performance, he didn't stay very long, only 4 or 5 songs, and the group that was before him STANK. The only rap performers I would like to have seen was Nelly or Tech N9ne, because they are both from Missouri. Nelly from St. Louis and Tech N9ne from Kansas City.

Hey Hey Hey, Don't judge a book by it's well worn cover. You might be suprised by what I like. I've got some of there music, Tech N9ne Nellie and 50cent, amoung others to many to list. there is about 4000 songs on my hard drive ranging from Classical to Gansta Rap. not much into new country tho I love the older stuff. I hear Arlo Guthurie (sp) is coming to town anyone up for that, I am.
