I put this in the funny section because it is CRAZY that a drunk, speeding, without a seatbelt, etc can be successful in suing Ford for $28,000,000.00

That is BS. Who will pay? the next people buying new fords. raise the price to cover that crap... Im thinking buy an explorer and then send ford a proposal. Dear ford, I frequently drive drunk at high rates of speed and have multiple passengers not wearing seatbelts. As you know, this is going to cost you your azz one day so heres what I suggest, just cut me a check for $500,000 now and Ill waive my right to sue you when the inevitable happens.

That crap makes me mad. What do you want to be the guy didn't even have a green card to be in this country. Now he'll use his millions to bring the rest of his family in.

Not trying to be a racist or make accusations, but I'd sure like to know if the people involved in the suit were even here legally.

Even if they weren't, the driver should be arrested, charged, and convicted for murder or manslaughter of the deceased as well as the injuries to the survivors and thrown in jail without parole for being a dumba$$!

I lived in Texas for awhile. Anyone who knows anything about Texas will tell you that it is the land of law suit city. Lawyers push lawsuits to the limit down there.

Well, that's just the first trial...there almost certainly be an appeal by Ford. Must have been the same jury in the OJ case....bunch of F#@tards

That is the biggest bunch of Sh** that I've seen in a long time! I heard that they're working on some kind of a common sense law or something like that to take care of idiots who sue over their stupidity. I always wonder what the heck the jury was thinking to make that verdict. Must have been some sweet-talkin lawyers.
