Just wondering....what will a stock 03' 600RR run in the 1/4? what about 1000ft? How do they compare to other 600's of the same year?

Thanks

To my knowledge it got slightly edged out by the zx6r but beat the other two.(r6 & gixer 6) It's somewhere in the range of 10.75 or at least thats the number which stands out to me I could be totally wrong do an internet search.

Most reviews i read had it in the low 11's. That is where most 600s run. If you want to drag race i wouldnt recommend using a 600, unless you like to lose.

It depends far more on the rider than the machine, RG proved last month that a new 600 could run in the 9's. Of course Ricky is no mortal man and the rest of us will never see those kind of #'s.
A high 10 is possible with a lot of skill, 11's to 12's are more in the realm of reality. Locally the ocasional weekend riders are just getting 1000's to the high 10 mark, and that is a very respectable time.
Depending on what kind of raciing you want to do the 600 is NOT a bad bike. For the bracket racer 600's are great, If I was only going to bracket race Id take a good consistant 600 any day over a liter or even a busa.

YOu shuld hit real low 11's if not high 10's. I ran an 11.2 on a stock 01'R6. And i had wires showing on the rear tire. (if you don't believe me i have the slip and video) it helps also if oyu don't use the clutch when you shift.
i am hoping to take the new R1 out to the track real soon. its finally broke in. To be honest if i don't hit at least a high ten to a mid ten the first day out i will be pissed.
