Some of you know Matt (Dookie). Well I have been documenting his most recent project, stuffing the engine from his ZX 1100 into a Quadzilla chassis.

The initial fitment

The start of the lower subframe and an origami fuel cell

With the motor centered in the frame the chain line was off due to the front sprocket being dished out, so it got chopped and sectioned.

It's looking like it will be right around the 500lb mark and ~150hp :smokin

That's awesome man.

I have a ZX-11 motor myself that I was going to replace the EX500 motor with in my dune buggy, until I realized that the ZX11's suffered from oil starvation issues. There is no known fix, but most people make sure that the oil is at the window while running and seem to have good luck with that.

Edit: what kind of radiator are you using?

Quadzilla radiator. It's bigger than the ZX11 radiator!
