I don't know about seeing any as to being a hot stunta in it! LOL That is if I can get some time on my bike and practice. We might be able to get Notorious Ridaz and Casey to perform for us too.

I know in Indy we had to pull a one day Parade Permit to close down a section of road. It cost about $50 and some barriers. I don't know what Springfields laws are though.

Have it in a parkinglot where the owner's don't care .The smaller the lot is, will also make the number of people that don't know what their doing, smaller as well .

I say you start looking for a cool church with a nice lot .Not like the cult on 65 and cc .They'll have you arrested and stoned to death in the Ozark square on Easter sunday . :dblfng

Or save up about $1,500 and talk to the guy at the drag strip about it .

The only problem with this is the fact that if it's not legit, they can still come on to private property for "traffic" infractions. Take it from our dearly departed Justin who got busted for doing a burnout on private property.

Really? That's scewed up, the cops won't work an accident on private property but they'll harass people on it even with owners permission. WTF is wrong with that picture. Makes no sense at all......

I have always heard that any "traffic violations" done on private property cannot be prosecuted because the law only applies to public roadways. Otherwise it seems like they could ticket me for doing a wheelie in my yard on my 50 for a CNI. Sounds like police are writing tickets first and consulting the law books later he should fight that

We'll prolly have to do what everyone else that has the money to do so has had to... Rent a track for half a day or something on a day that they don't operate it. Then invite enough people to make it affordable. Does anyone know anybody at Rogersville that can look into that. I mean we were willing to rent out Hallett, so why not do the same for the yearly bike/Stunt show/ BBQ party. We always pull it together for free for every one. We can sell admission tickets (for a minimal fee) since we all get to eat drink and enjoy the show. Just an idea.

Well from my understanding it is the fact that it is a distraction to the public, which still makes it a CNI. Hence the reason for a Parade Permit. Our friend Justin did a burnout on private property with the owner of the property standing right beside him and still almost got the ticket. I don't think they really look at the 50's as real bikes, but say you were stunting in your yard with a big bike it would probably be a different story with the cops. I thing Rogersville is going to be too pricey for what we are looking for, but if someone could go downtown and see what the statutes are for closing down a section of road for a few hours one day that would help a bunch!!

I stunt my street almost everyday .People just come outside with lawn chair's ,their like 50+ in age .It's funny as crap .

I say we just go to stuntzone and blockoff the road .With enough people their they'll have to call for riot patrol .With the respond time that they are famous for,we will have enough time for a show .

If that don't work ? I just thought of a place we might hold one at .I'll talk to them within the next few day's .Does anyone object if there are stripper's involved ?

:D

With sponsors involved I am sure they are going to have a say in where it's going to be. I figured it will probably be held at Hardees at Kansas and Battlefied where it normally is held. I also figured that we would just shut down the street that runs beside there, hence the reason I was wanting to know if we could pull a Parade Permit.

hahaha, not anymore I don't. The parking lot would be great if it was just us, but you have to factor in (if we have them again) the bike show, 50 stunters, slow drag race, and spectators.

Ya it's real nice .I got it at target,it was on sale .Thats the first time I've heard you say something funny on here.Take it from our dearly departed Justin who got busted for doing a burnout on private property.Yea, but he also did a burn out on the street that took him for a wild ride, I believe that was what they were going to try and get him for. The rest of that they were just pissed cause it showed them up in their own back yard. Funny having bike tire rubber covering a cops bike because he was smart enough to park behind a bike doing burnouts in a parking lot. LOL I love Justin. :D

Not to hijack this thread or anything. But think of it this way.If it's a place to worship God and the Pastor own's a $250,000 dollar car,and you get money taken out of your bank account each month to be a member. What's that tell you ?

Maybe I'm wrong calling it a cult? I'll retract that statement. But I will say this. It's a crooked azz church to say the least .

Are you a member there ?

I used to be a member there and John Lindell is a friend of mine........a pastors salary is based on the percentage of tithes and offerings and he accepts a much smaller set salary. When members choose to make pledges to the church it is their decission on whether they want it taken from their accounts just like any other auto withdrawals. It's because of what that church offers and the presence of God in that place that makes it what it is. When I go there I can feel that presence and it has nothing to do with the building the pastor or anything else........that is why this struck me very wrong.....

I know I'm not the only one on this board that goes to college so this isn't completly selfish... but I think pushing it back one more weekend would encompass a lot more college people (and not strain the ones in SPFD as much) I think that MSU finals are the same week as Mizzou's which is the week of the 7th-11th. Can someone at MSU confirm that?

Anyway, it can be hard to take off an entire day of studying the weekend before finals, and even harder if you go to school outta town to make it (like me, or ridenhour or others)

This happened last time where you scheduled it just on a bad weekend, i really want to make this too. I vote push it back a weekend

Personally, I think all good men and preachers should get this, Things like this is a sign that God is taking care of those doing his, HIS service and not their own. God also choices to to make some of his children go through a bit of a trial before blessing them just so they don't end up stunting in his houses parking lots. :D There are some Men whom claim Gods work and make tons of money doing it, but most good men and children of God do not exploit theirselves, but are exploited by the other children of God. Maybe this, is whats going on.

BUT, back to the thread. I can wait for the show. :D
