I posted this on a busa board but thought I'd give you guys a shoot.

I have a 00 Busa that will not start. When I turn on the kill switch the fuel pump doesn't turn on all the time and if it does kick on the bike still will not start. The only codes that come up or 13 and 21 becuase I have the air box off. The codes only come up when the pump kicks on. Is it a relay or what? I have tried with my EMS off and the same thing. The pump only comes on once in a blue moon.Something is killing the coils and the pump. Also it sucked all the life out of my battery.
Please Help

Just a shot in the dark but could it be b/c one of the air temp sensors in the air box is not hooked up?

I've ran it and rode it without the box on. But it started acting up with everthing on. I took it apart looking for a lose wire but it all looks good?

I would check and see if there a common wire or circuit between fuel pump and coils. If so, I'd start hunting along that wire.

Does it lose both fuel pressure and spark, or one or the other?

The pump may not pump all the time. Sometimes they shut off once fuel pressure is built up and won't pump again until there is a drop in pressure.

If you're battery died, you might test it to make sure it's good and strong, sometimes a weak battery won't allow the ignition to fire when cranking the motor over.

Tip over sensor? That would not allow your bike to do anything. I *personally* solidify mine on the race bikes. I leave it be on the stunt bikes.

Found it. I tore the bike down for nothing!:( :( :( My thether switch was lose. That's a kill cord like on a seado. It's allways the little things that piss me off.

Do you do anything with the tip over sensor, or just leave it stock?

stock so tracks will count it as the thether switch.
