Anybody own one of these? I'm looking for something to have some fun on but not spend to much money. I doubt I'll be launching anything to high into the air either but I do want something that can stand up to occasional jumping. I know a 2 stroke 125 will get me around just fine but will one of these? I'm about 5' 10' and weigh 150#.

You will be a bit big on it, but they are really fun bikes. I would think a CRF150R would be a better fit if you want to jump at all.
I have a pair of them, and the best part is being able to flat track them with a friend.

I would thing that that ttr would be underpowered for ya. And the suspension would definitely be inadequate for your size to be jumping. I'll sell ya a Wr250f that is fully street legal;) I would honestly like frank said go with the "r" Honda version or go with a 250 trail bike like the WR or crf250x.

Yeah, the TTR125L is still intended for a teenager at best. I would think 12-15 year old.

glad they said it... I kept one for a friend and occasionally rode it; was a turd, couldn't do much on it at my size (6'1" 180lbs)
underpowered and weak suspension
My best advice is get a full size or at least something made for MX even if you don't normally jump (can always soften the suspension). Pick up a decent used 125 for 1200 or less (early to mid 2000)

Ended up getting an 05 CRF 230. The price was right so if it doesn't work out the way I'd like I don't have to worry to much about getting my money back out of it.

That is a perfect mid size bike.

A bazillion miles to the gallon and not a scooter. Impossible to go wrong. Plus the entire world is now your own ISDE qualifier (til the cops show up).
Momma says cops are just a special stage of the ISDE.

Live fire would be the only thing that could make Erzberg more difficult.
I'll write a letter to the FIM and see where they stand on this.
