There seems to be a lot of gun activity on this site, and it seems like a gun specific forum may help to keep the chatter contained in an appropriate area.

do you not consider the "lounge" and appropriate area?
It would be easier to track gun-specific discussions in a designated gun section. It may also make life easier for those who complain about "all the gun stuff on a motorcycle forum".
There seem to be other sub forums with much less activity (stunters, girls forum, etc), so I thought this made sense.

I always click on the "new posts" tab at the top of the page. It takes me to all new posts, so I rarely even realize what sub-forum the thread is in.

Bro this is no more a motorcycle specific site than ar15.com is a motorcycle site. There is no structure to anything, on any thread period. This is your place to go to find useless banter and useless pics that people spend precious moments of their day searching the web for to post at that most opurtune moment. Perfect place to find almost every topic thread-jacked as much and as often as possible to bring about drama. Its a shame cause I know of at least 2 investors who would have invested money on advertisement til they read a few of the topics.
I had a talk with one the "elder" statemen that not only I respect but at least 99% of this board respects as well about this very topic. And he said that when the site first started out it was on target. Bunch friends who rode that b-sed w one another and talked shop. But its far from what it originally was created for he told me. Nobody got on a thread about a downed rider and started drama bout whos fault it was, or it being a punk @$$ stunter or none of that. Or how some people on here that feel that they need to "self moderate" who is deemed worthy and belittle people that have done wonderful things for our community and country.
Now I truly feel people have the right to say what they want when they want. But sometimes a certain few take it way too far on the disrespect factor, which is funny cause we all actually are on this site for the mutual respect of one thing at least or Im sure 99.9% of us are or we wouldnt have joined a sportbike forum. Just my 2 pennies for what its worth.

As well, this is also true. Almost every site has a lounge, and a lounge involves all that is to be spoke about. We just so happen to have a lot of riders who love guns.

Well, I'll be damned.
