So... turns out I was the stunt double in a video we shot for the late night talk show "The Mystery Hour". We shot the intro video last week, we have a great team of film guys and editors, so it should be good! I got to play around on a pit bike all day, so it was SWEET!

If anyone wants to see the intro video, as well as a very good show, here are the details:

What: The Mystery Hour (David Letterman style live talk show)
Where: The Skinny Improv located at 301 Park Central East Springfield, MO 65806
When: 10pm Friday September 3rd, 2010.
How much: $5 I think. Unless it is $3. Either way, very cheap!
Subject: Fw: Fwd:

This got my attention, it made me realize how many times I'm asked for ID, I never thought about it before.

Now that I have, I can't for the life of me see why you'd get upset.

I'm a legal American citizen and I must show my ID when:
1. Pulled over by the police.
2. Making purchases on my department store credit card.
3. When I show up for a doctor's appointment.
4. When filling out a credit card or loan application.
5. When applying for or renewing a driver's license or passport.
6. When applying for any kind of insurance.
7. When filling out college applications.
8. When donating blood.
9. When obtaining certain prescription drugs.
10. When making some debit purchases, especially if I'm out of state.
11. When collecting a boarding pass for airline or train travel.

12. When checking into a hotel or motel.

I'm sure there are more instances, but the point is that we citizens of the USA are required to prove who we are nearly every day!

Why should people in this country illegally, be exempt!!!!!

Why shouldn't we guard our borders as closely as every other country in the world does?

Go ARIZONA !!!

Only 68% will send this on... Should be a 100%! BET YOU'LL SEND IT!!!

Anyone ever make their own 12v LED lighting?

I was thinking about adding some accent lighting in my boat….up under some of the cubby holes and compartments so it will be easier to see down in...

I was thinking about adding some accent lighting in my boat….up under some of the cubby holes and compartments so it will be easier to see down in them at night…and I think it would look pretty cool to have a blue glow coming out of them. I’ve seen some companies online who sell lighting kits, but they are crazy expensive. I have seen some of the LED strips for cars at the local auto-parts stores, but I would like to do this as cheap as possible….without out spending $100+ on several of those LED light sticks.

I was wondering if any of you electronic guys would be able to help me out with making some DIY (do it yourself) 12v LED lights. Can you get colored LED’s? Where is the best place online to get the LED hardware? Do I hook them directly up to 12v power, or are there other components needed? I can handle the wiring, I’ve just never messed with LED’s before. Do you have to wire up individual LED lights, or can you buy “clusters” of LED’s prewired? Is it possible to build your own 12v LED “tubes” like they sell at the auto parts stores?

I need just enough light to give off a nice dim glow, not so bright to where I completely lose my night vision.

Any info would be great! Thanks
